Hey!! i got ur advertisement or whatever on yahoo answers. i want 2 join track and xc, but what are some good tips for getting stamina, and what are ur fave spikes for track and xc?? should i even wear spikes in xc?
omg thnx! someone actually read it! haha u wanna do xc? that's GREAT! it's soo fun! well what i'd do is start out running a mile every day and when u can do that relatively easily, go for 2 miles. or if that's too much, go for a mile, break for a few min, then do another...it's what my coach had me do, and believe me, it works! track is my fave tho! (as much as i luv xc haha track is awesome!)

they work for mid-long distance in track too... what event(s) are you thinking of doing for track?
Heyy I also saw your yahoo answers thing! I run track (800 meter and 1600). What events do you run? What are your times? My 800 time is 2:29. I'm 15 years old...my mile time is 5:57. What do you think?
track chick u are really fast!! i want to do track, i will probably sign up within the next month. I haven't ran in a long time, last time i ran my mile was a year ago- it took me almost ten minutes!!!!!!!!!!!
trackchick u areee fast! my 800 time is 2:30 (i'm a high school freshman) but my mile time is 6:12...haha i'm more of a mid-distance...my 200m time is 29.08 tho haha yeah i pretty much vary in events p.s. everyone thnx for posting! xD
bailey--don't worry about it! it takes some time to get back in shape, but soon you'll be running fast again...before track season i ran, like, a 9:30 min mile...after one season i went down by 3 minutes =]] good luck!
haha thnx xD i'm working on a 2:24 now...i'm part of a new relay team so hopefeully that'll go well! soo does anyone here to field events? long jump...sorry i don't do it haha but my sis does...all i know is that the last, like, 2-4 strides right before you jump have to be your longest...but idk anything else sry...

im probably going to do sprints in track, like the 100m and the 400m. maybe 800m.
